I stand amazed in the presence Of Jesus the Nazarene, And wonder how He could love me, A sinner, condemned, unclean.

Chorus: O how marvelous! O how wonderful! And my song shall ever be: O how marvelous! O how wonderful! Is my Savior’s love for me!

He took my sins and my sorrows, He made them His very own; He bore the burden to Calvary, And suffered and died alone.

When with the ransomed in glory His face I at last shall see, ’Twill be my joy through the ages To sing of His love for me.

I woke up with this singing this song. Good morning Jesus!

Text: Charles Wesley, 1707-1788    Music: Lyra Davidica, 1708
Tune: EASTER HYMN

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia! Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia! Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!

Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!

Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia! Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia! Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia! Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!

Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia! Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!

Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia! Where’s thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!

Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!

Following our exalted Head, Alleluia! Made like him, like him we rise, Alleluia! Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia!

Praise to thee by both be given, Alleluia! Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia! Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!

King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia! Everlasting life is this, Alleluia!

Thee to know, thy power to prove, Alleluia!

Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!

Text: Robert Lowry, 1826-1899

Music: Robert Lowry, 1826-1899

Tune: CHRIST AROSE

Low in the grave he lay,

Jesus my Savior,

waiting the coming day,

Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave he arose;

with a mighty triumph o’er his foes;

he arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever,

with his saints to reign.

 He arose! He arose!

Hallelujah!

Christ arose!

Vainly they watch his bed,

Jesus my Savior,

vainly they seal the dead,

Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave he arose;

with a mighty triumph o’er his foes;

he arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever,

with his saints to reign.

He arose! He arose!

Hallelujah!

Christ arose!

Death cannot keep its prey,

Jesus my Savior;

he tore the bars away,

Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave he arose;

with a mighty triumph o’er his foes;

he arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever,

with his saints to reign.

He arose! He arose!

Hallelujah!

Christ arose!
