Waking Up At Calvary

This morning I awoke with this song in my heart. I am so thankful that I met my Jesus at Calvary. He not only has changed my life there, he in fact has given me new life there. If you do not know my Jesus, come to Calvary.

How Majestic Is Your Name O Lord

This morning, I am reminded of just how Majestic a God I worship. Psalm 8 is a beautiful message of the greatest of our magnificent Lord. Can you believe that he created us just lower than the angels?

Am I worthy of that placement? What will I do today to show God that I am humble before Him?

As you start your day today, I hope these words and the following song by Sandi Patty will speak to your heart as well.

Have a blessed day with The Lord.

Psalm 8

For the director of music. According to gittith. A psalm of David.

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory
in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?

You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

THE SWEET NAME OF JESUS

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
There’s just something about that name
Master, Savior, Jesus
Like the fragrance after the rain
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
Let all heaven and earth proclaim
Kings and kingdoms shall all pass away
But there’s something about that name.

I stand amazed in the presence Of Jesus the Nazarene, And wonder how He could love me, A sinner, condemned, unclean.

Chorus: O how marvelous! O how wonderful! And my song shall ever be: O how marvelous! O how wonderful! Is my Savior’s love for me!

He took my sins and my sorrows, He made them His very own; He bore the burden to Calvary, And suffered and died alone.

When with the ransomed in glory His face I at last shall see, ’Twill be my joy through the ages To sing of His love for me.

I woke up with this singing this song. Good morning Jesus!
